I was asked to make an artwork for utrecht (NL) for the district lombok (one of Utrechts' multicultural districts). It's a area where people of all different ethnic cultures come together and share their knowledge and wisdom but also their sorrow. Life follows the rhythm of the streets in the busy clutter of Lombok.

I've created an image wich resembles the freedom, the potential and the space of Lombok. I have tried to create a piece of quite and peacefulness in this up-tempo beating heart. And remember: everything will be ok!
